I was actually on my way here to post about this ...

Imagine being QB1, leading your team to an undefeated 3-0 start, when your team was projected to start 1-2, and saying; "Nah. It's all about the $$$$$$."

Absolutely this was going to happen, eventually.

I just thought it would first occur at the end of the season, where the player held out of his Bowl obligation, til he received his NIL ""Endorsement"" bond.



As for your money "not" to play, well ...

Considering where this is taking place, if it were to happen anywhere, that would be there.

The new norm is here……. I think I’ll call it ‘Roster Recruiting’. I thought about calling it ‘Roster Robbery’ or ‘Team Tampering’ but that doesn’t fit when there’s a marketplace conducting the buying and selling of services.

………and btw, I don’t know how ‘new’ it is, it’s just done openly instead of behind the scenes.

With both Starting QB and RB for UNLV hitting the Transfer Portal, with a 3-0 record, and being ahead of their projected success ...

Lemme just ask, what does this tell you, then

Vegas Odds makers had UNLV's win total Over/Under ahead of this season is at 7.5 with the Over at +125 and the Under at -150.

Whaddaya wanna bet their odds for continuing the pace they were on, just took a major hit?

Well since it’s all about players, talent and execution I’d say you’re right on……… but riddle me this, I’m wondering where that $100,000.00 dollars the Coach allegedly promised the kid was gonna come from and who was financing that????? Sounds to me like maybe the ‘good ole days’ before NIL and such, when the cash was simply delivered in a brown paper bag.
