Never A Lead ...

Postby Cane from the Bend » Sat Oct 05, 2024 8:19 pm

-------------------------------------------------------------

This is a wild weekend ...

Are they burning couches back home?

Mountainman, that wasn't even really contested. The Mountaineers looked like a complete team today.

I knew N.C. State had issues; but had I even remotely assumed this game could go Wake Forest's way, I would have put it in the Picks.

Alabama :?:

As the title of this thread states; Never had the lead at any point versus Vanderbilt ... ... Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt.

Well, now the Tide fans know how Virginia Tech fans feel.

After Vandy beat the Hokies, the media dumped on the ACC saying how terrible the conference is, because one of the favorites to win the ACC title, lost to the Commodores.

Makes me wonder how the apologists are gonna spin this.

Bama wasn't supposed to beat UGA, maybe ..?

I just hope Mario and company are using this game as a cautionary tale tonight.

Tell the boys; "Remember last week? Then take a look at what happened in Nashville. How about we don't let that be us."

Let's not forget TN going down to Arkansas. Which I find amusing.

The season is full of surprises. I like what's going on a lot. Never mind watching Bama lose.

If Ga could start games properly by firing Mike Bobo, they'd be undefeated.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I don’t think it’s time to start striking matches or flipping your Bic yet……

The Mountaineers did look good and played well……. Now, let’s go beat somebody with a pulse. Choking at Pitt, overwhelmed by Penn State while winning against Albany, Kansas and Okie State tells us what?????

Easy answer…… Don’t know yet.
