I don’t blame them one bit…..

……. it was along the same lines, scheduling, that I didn’t renew my Season Tickets, which I’ve had for years, this season. It’s not that long a drive, but I prefer to travel the day before and the day after the game, and Hell, I would have been on the road the every weekend during the month of September. So I went to the season opener, the Pitt game, in Pittsburgh, and said the hell with the rest of it. a.k.a. Pissed-off Hillbilly with an attitude.

The Ticket Office called me at least six times about renewing my 2 ticketing packages and I told them every time that they need to increase their consideration of what are the needs and preferences of their fans.

But, alas, they’ll continue to allow the conferences and TV guys to determine the when and where and what time.

I don’t mind the noon games. I got there about 7:00 Saturday and my daughter and I went and got breakfast. Then we stopped at a tailgate for a little while. Got in line for the skull session around 8:45. Then over to the entrance for the walk at 10:20. Then we went in. We were home by 7:00 after we went to eat.

I don’t mind night games in September and even early October, but in November give me the 12:00 games every time.

Sounds like a great day for Dad and Daughter!!!! :D

……… now please tell me you didn’t rattle on about the dimensions of the goalposts, the field and markings, kicking off the tee, punting, place kicking, I-formations, split backs, empty backfield, going in motion, streak patterns, slants, posts, outs, fly, square outs, go patterns, isolation blocking, double teaming, pulling, kick outs, leads, drop back, sprint outs, and scrambles, and hopefully there wasn’t any coaching errors……. she’ll tell on you for saying ‘bad’ words and calling people names while questioning their intelligence.

I was good. They were playing Purdue so It wasn't a stressful fan game, but I was her golf coach for 4 years so she has got to see me in that environment. Although I have mellowed a bit from my baseball coach days and even as a golf coach by the time she was on my team.
She has been to games before so it wasn't her first time, but it was her first time for the whole experience. I usually don't go as early and do skull or the walk. She had a good time. Although she would rather go to a basketball game.
