Had this video pop up as a suggestion, and gave it a watch ...
You know, for the length, it's entertaining enough to keep my interest up.
It's a semi satirical take on SEC fan bases.

That's absolutely spot on.
I think the rankings are pretty good too. Bama and Texas at the top of the list gave it legitimacy. I think most fans of an SEC team would put those 2 at the top. I would guess if took an exhaustive poll of all fans, that 98% of the respondents would have those 2 at the top in some form.
I did not go to Georgia, I inherited it. My grandparents grew up and met in Athens. I have family there still, but would not recognize them if they walked up to me. I inherited my fandom from my Dad and Grandfather.
When I was over visiting him on a Saturday back in the 80s or 90s, he would have the game on TV while muted and have every radio in the house blaring Larry Munson's game calling.
It was wonderful, and I will never forget it if I live to be 100. I can still hear Larry's voice.

You experience with Georgia growing up is the same as mine with Ohio State. It is awesome.
