Coach of the Year

The American Football Coaches Association announced the region coaches of the year today.
This award is the only coach of the year award voted on exclusively by the coaches themselves. The winners are selected by the coaches they compete with and against on a daily basis.
Division I-A are Wake Forest’s Jim Grobe (Region 1), Arkansas' Houston Nutt (Region 2), Michigan's Lloyd Carr (Region 3), Boise State's Chris Peterson (Region 4) and BYU's Bronco Mendenhall (Region 5).
On Jan 10 they present the Coach of the year in San Antonio.
