FSU has been schooled by young coaches like Urban Myer in recruiting. The Noles were Old School and didn't understand how recruiting has changed (for instance, Bobby has never sent a text message).
The Noles were well known for not having many committments and closing strong very late. In reality, some of these guys were "silents".
This year, it is May, and the Noles have 11 committments. Why? They now understand that with texting and cell phones, the kids themselves are recruiting. Florida got them early and set the kids to help recruit (unheard of in Old School). FSU is now doing the same...
