LA Tech Legend Dies
Tommy Spinks, Tery Bradshaw's top target at Louisiana Tech, died Sunday at his home in Arlington, Texas, following a short illness. He was 58. He graduated from Louisiana Tech as the program's all-time leading receiver. He set two records in the 1968 Grantland Rice Bowl, catching 12 passes for 167 yards.
