Another ARK WR out for the season...

Postby Dossenator » Tue Sep 25, 2007 9:56 pm

Well, first freshman WR Crosby Tuck who caught 1 pass against troy for a 40 yard TD and 1 pass against Bama for a 42 yard TD received his first start against Kentucky. On the first drive of the game he made a great catch...however, he broke his elbow on the play and is gone for the season. He gave Ark a legit deep threat and catches anything close to him....

Ben Clevland (sophomore TE) is still battling a pinched nerve in his neck and it looks like he will take a medical redshirt....gone for the season.

And who knows about Marcus Monk....their is talk that he may be back soon or he may take a medical redshirt. However, I think he is going to be in the NFL draft this next year whether he plays or not this year. The Hogs have definetely missed his presence this year on the field. He is the go to guy on 3rd down and is a huge redzone target (he is 6' 6"). He more then likely would have set the SEC record for most TD receptions in a career if he would have been able to play all season...but it looks like that record will not be reached due to injury.

Know London Crawford will start at split end....yes he is the receiver who dropped that pass against Bama (caught the ball ran 5 yards and dropped the ball when no one even touched him).
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).
