WVU -v- Maryland

The Eers looked really good over all. (Other than slacking off as per usual with a big lead.)

The D had 8 sacks (all in the 2nd half I think). 8) The D is back to where I like them, they won't be run on. They gave up 2 passes for TD, hated it but the defenders both got turned at the ball to let the WR go.

Geno Smith is going to be a beast at QB, he is smart with the football and his range and touch just continues to improve. Austin is just a beast and the offense is going to be nasty by the start of Big Easy play!

LSU is up next, so we will know what the Eers have next week!!!

Good game, next week LSU let's see what happens.
Didn't have Brandon Hogan on D due to a DUI  kinda dump on his part.

I hope the Eers get Hogan back..he is dynamic! But they have some good ones in the back this year. Glover is an animal!

I'm watching the LSU-Miss St game right now. I haven't seen anything from the Tigers that overly impresses me. If the DE's and LB's can clamp the line and not let Jefferson roll, they can hold LSU under 17 points.

It's ironic, that you keep referring to the conference as the Big Easy; though, before you get into conference play, you go to Baton Rouge to play LSU... a team from a state where the Big Easy ( New Orleans ) is located. 8)

LSU's QB doesn't belong on the field if you ask me. (The Raiders got burnt bad taking Ja-Scrub, that looked 4 times better than this Ja-Joke. I still steam thinking about how stupid Davis has been.) If WVU lives in the LSU back field, like they should, and I somewhat expect...the Eers will surprise a lot of people! I'd eat his lunch every play, stunting on most. Then they'd have to face a better QB if he got pulled or banged up, but Les seems to be about 13 kinds of stupid in this QB department!
