If the transitive property is valid and if Minnesota pulls off the upset

I'm getting a little ahead of myself since Minnesota is losing 13-7 in the 3rd quarter, but they just picked off another Barkley pass.

This should pull SC and Kiffin from the rankings.

I wouldn't go that far. @ Hawaii, Virginia, and @ Minnesota would be three at least solid wins which is a lot more than many other teams have done in the top 25. But if they almost lose I'll be sure to drop them. Michigan is kind of the same thing, wins against UConn and Notre Dame are somewhat impressive, but their play against UMass today was disheartening. It is just one game.

Don't know if I would call those solid wins. SC shouldn't struggle to a team that lost to a 1AA team.

Eric, are you into the cinnamon flavored crack early this season? Detroit must be feelig extra Chistmassy this year! I thought they normally waited until about Halloween?!?!?!?

Well I meant that they are solid wins, not good or even decent wins. I was just pointing out that other teams in the top 25 don't have any solid wins. A few that come to mind are Stanford, Texas, Arizona, and Arkansas at the time they were ranked last week.

Texas Tech is a more staple win than Virginia. And the Cavaliers, so far, are the biggest win the trojans have right now.

And that win has been crosshaired with controversy.

Don't know how USC's performance, so far, has you stating the are good wins.

How well did Hawaii play against army?

Other than being in the Big Ten, what does Minnesota have to offer? Especially seeing as how they are projected to finish last in the conference... behind Indiana.

You have to check the time I posted this. At the time of the posting, Stanford had not beaten Wake and Texas had not beaten Texas Tech. Also, Hawaii on the islands is different than Hawaii on the road. Again, I wasn't saying that those were particularly good wins, I just meant that USC was mildly tested, much moreso than facing a run of the mill MAC/Sun Belt/FCS school.

Yeah, but it was probably an aberration. Don't get me wrong, Minnesota is bad, but I doubt South Dakota has more straight up talent.
