Man, the NWA is freaking electric right now. I'm actually starting to get the Hog Fever up here. If Arkansas wins this game:

1) If Arkansas returns to National Prominence (Regular in the Top 5 Post & Preseason), this will be the "signature game."
2) Heisman will be Mallet's to lose.
3) Arkansas will stop losing its 5 Stars (Dyer, Mustain, Damian, etc.)
4) Yeofoot might be even call the Hogs (I'm tellin you, it's contagious up here). I keep saying "It won't actually happen, but if I was ever to wear an Arkansas hat, it would be this weekend. I don't have anything against Bama, but it is an exciting time to be in the NWA.

Razorhawk had a pic of me in a hog hat many years ago where we had pizza and some beer one night before a game. I kinda got tired and snoozed with the snouit up in the air. We can't seem to find the pic. Would be a douzy for laughs.

I am already down for ARK 25-Bama22 on some other thread for no reason just company policy!

Yeofoot...I am jealous that you are in NW Ark right now. I am stuck in CA. I can feel the electricity and excitement for the game all the way in Southern CA. Between the 2 schools I read that something like 80 recruits will be at the game. Many have offers from both schools and will use this game and the atmosphere at the game to help make their decision.

This is a big game for Ark. A game that can help Petrino and the Razorbacks take that next step. In the SW conference days Ark was a consistent player in the top 10....not so much since joining the SEC. Like I said in another post, I want this win SOOOOOOO Bad.

Come on Hogs!

This is probably the biggest game in Fayetteville, since the 1969 Texas game. I do think the game more recently, when Arkansas traveled to Tennessee with an undefeated record was a bigger game. That was the Stoernover game.

Having been a Razorback fan since 1963, I have become so accustomed to losing the big games. Hopefully tomorrow will be an exception and also that my heart will be able to stand the stress.

I know how you feel. There are those rare games that come along that really get your blood pumping and your excitement piqued. I'm rooting for the Hogs.

Students have been camping outside of Razorback Stadium since Monday. Everyday more tents have been added...hundreds of students are camping out now. Last night head Arkansas basketball coach John Pelphrey (along with some Razorback basketball players) hand delivered pizza to these students. Petrino purchased pizza for these students as well and Ryan Mallett (along with other football players) hand delivered the pizza to those camping out. It would be fun to be a student right now and be on that campus all week.
