Perfect Saturday?

Postby WoVeU » Sun Oct 10, 2010 1:52 pm

The Eers, just a few water boys donning pads and being allowed to break a nice fall sweat short of perfect.
Air Force winning!
Boise St. winning!
Arkansas winning!
Stanford winning!
TCU winning!
Oregon State winning!
Michigan State winning!
Georgia winning!
Ohio State winning!
Florida State winning!

Pitt losing! (They are hopeless enough, and the Big East weak enough that I can actually enjoy a Pitt OOC defeat now!)
Penn State losing!
USC losing!
Michigan losing!
Miami losing!
Alabama losing!
Florida losing!

But...alas, Notre Dame won! And Oklahoma didn't lose....perfection is a hard thing to come by!

I'll join you in that, except to take out "Florida State winning!" and instead add

Syracuse winning!
Utah winning!
Hawaii winning!

and in other news:
New York Yankees winning!

And normally, I wouldn't be so happy about "Penn State losing!" but as I had been expecting that, it worked out okay for me.

Today, I have "Indianapolis Colts winning!" so if Matt Kenseth can just do something in the second half of this race, I'll have the perfect weekend in four leagues of three sports.

Oh my...

FSU winning is one thing...but against our rivals in Miami...and by more than 4 points..is proceless.

Yeah, I liked the Cuse winning too!

I can't stand the Yankees (you must be an actual New Yorker) and Kenseth puts me to me sleep!

I now have to see if they reversed the crap they killed Gordon's car with and see if he can recover from a speeding penalty. It has been a long time since he got one...at least he is pushing really hard! (And it will be really nice if these counter tops continue to work with me on the removals.)

Oh yeah, you have to be ecstatic with that big win! :D

I'm from the New York state, but not New York City. See my team avatar.

And Kenseth has been putting me to sleep as well this season... :( As far as that is concerned it is time to sit back and just embrace the fact that Jimmie Johnson will win all future championships until they restore the old season-long point system.

I guess my multi-sport perfect weekend isn't due for another couple of weeks. Still a good one for football though.

Yeah BRB, I saw your avatar!

And I saw Kenseth blowing smoke! Jeff worked it and went from 24th to 9th in 20 laps. (And I do not like this Chase...Nascar's playoff sucks. And it already cost Jeff 2 championships if I recall, I know 1 for sure. And Tony won in a Chevy, and a rice-burner didn't...and Kyle blew up! :D :D :D )

Man that Georgia beat down felt good!!! 8)

If they do the same to Vanderbilt next week (homecoming)...I think all will be forgotten.

I think they players probably got ran until they puked. Totally different team. I don't know exactly who stood up, but everyone was on the job. But I also realize that Tenn is not that strong, just like ULF.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Vandy won't excuse 4 in the L column...come on man! It is Georgia...not Georgia Tech! And Vandy...not FSU!

Definitely agree with the bold. I'm a long-suffering fan of the blue oval though. (I do tend to like Harvick's teams in Busch and Truck though, particularly Hornaday). Of course, seeing Kyle blow up is always fun, whatever your manufacturer loyalties.
