If they both go undefeated....let them play each other for the NC. A just reward for good seasons.
It might happen...looks very possible,
#1 Boise St. and #2 TCU

LOL deja vu and a way out once again for the BCS...

Win or Lose - IT'S HOW YOU HYPE THE OUTCOME! BCS logic: When teams in the AQ conferences lose, it shows how tough those conferences are; when teams in non-AQ conferences lose, it is weakness.

If that happens it will be indisputable evidence how broken the BCS system is. The Boise's of the world have done as much for College football in the past few years as anyone. They have excelled in so many areas that it would be wrong to not recognize their accomplishments. But, in the flawed and self deceptive quest to crown one school with the title of National Grand Puhbaugh, (my spell checker suggested I really wanted Limbaugh here...which I find very funny...and actually I think more accurate,) National Grand Limbaugh, we have condoned a system that promotes corruption, cheating, misplaced values and academic mediocrity. (Under the old bowl system, where a school wanted to win their conference, go to a bowl and get back in class on January 2nd, there was not nearly the secondary issues we now face.) In my opinionated mind, as much as I want to see Boise do well and be recognized, and under this current fiasco, think they should be given every consideration, can anyone can believe Boise and or TCU are the two best teams in college football.

PS Though I do not accept that my friend, Mr. Billybud, believes his post, and though we disagree on some issues of how to go about determining the "best" teams, he is correct in his desire to find a better way to make this determination.
Statistics are the Morphine of College Football

When a persons reality differs from the majority then one is considered insane. I'll take my insanity and stick to my guns because Boise St. is number 1.

47 have either one as #1 (48.5%)
50 have either one as #2 (51.5%)

In light of all this I am not surprised... but I do wish it did not happen so early...

What Donovan? You want to cheat a non BCS #2 out of their right to play for the title?
If Boise and TCU are really #1 and #2...they should play. LOL. And wouldn't that be perfect?
On an aside. Iwas listening to Dan Patrick..and their expert said that, of the undefeateds, he has Nebraska and Ohio State meeting since they have will have relatively easy paths (SOS's in the 70s-80s). He also said that if the winner of the Auburn - LSU game runs the table...then they are in.

Arkansas beating Auburn would put some brakes on that. Another reason to root for Ark...I like an open field...you know like the season means something. (You know BB, FSU may still have a dog in this fight!)

Sorry to hear about your loss. I've only gotten to the stage where my grandparents are gone, that was not easy, I don't know how I'm gonna handle the parents.
Oregon and OSU should be #1 & #2 respectively IMO....putting Boise and TCU ahead of them is not right.
I agree with donovan to a certain extent...putting Boise and TCU in the NCG together would be criminal and proof that the system that was designed to remove any bias and give teams not named Notre Dame, Michigan, or USC a shot at the title game, has been corrupted by politics and a "keeping everyone happy" mentality.
Anyone can look at my polls and see that I give Boise a lot of "love" for their schedule.
But I don't care if it hair lips every frog in Georgia, if Boise played in the SEC, they would NOT be undefeated. That's the whole jist of the argument from SOS fans when they answer "undefeated" arguments. No one is questioning Boise's talent this year or any other year.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

The only thing I don't get with all the hating. The Computers seem to be saying that Boise St. has plenty enough difficulty in their schedule...to date. Isn't it this weeks rankings people vote for, not December's?

Correct. One week at a time.
