Are ACL Injuries Contagious?

Postby BYUfan1 » Sat Oct 16, 2010 1:35 pm

Purdue has to be wondering if ACL injuries are contagious since three football players are out with ACL tears and now Robbie Hummel from the basketball team has another ACL tear.

Actually there are 4 football guys out. Marve (QB), Smith (WR and potentially late 1st round pick), Bolden (RB that had almsot 1000 yards last year), McBurse (2nd string behind Bolden-I think I am correct on this an ACL end of last year). Top that wilt Siller (best Athlete/WR torn ankle a few weeks ago). I am in mourning/depression. Who did we honk off to deserve this?

The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

Side bar. I have been sidelined the past 5 months after I discovered I have had torn ligaments in my left wrist (no I was overdosing beers with my left hand Razor). Still restricted and a splint from surgery. Think it's the water I used to drink at Purdue. Anyone know a good lawyer?

That sucks brother,I hope you heal well. It likely will leave some pains for you to deal with in the future, I pray for nothing to minimal. My elbow and wrist bother me enough sometimes that it hurts to play guitar...ridiculous! Irritating and very frustrating!

(I think many ACL injuries today are from shoes that grip turf, field, and courts more than we need them to!)
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.

Shoes and turf are part of it. The QB basically got stuck in the turf same with wide receiver.

It has been decided that playing cards and drinking beer are a safer pastime on campus.
