Ohio State and Wisconsin

Postby silverfox » Sat Oct 16, 2010 7:44 pm

For those of you who have been saying Ohio State is over rated well Wisconsin is trying to prove you right:

Wisconsin 14, Ohio State 0 with about a minute left in the first quater and Wisconsin has ball control and in Ohio Stte Territory...

Whiskey in the jar? Not today. They are just working the ball methodically.

My goodness -- talk about Defense, OSU held to a mere 35 yards in the first quarter.

I smell a serious upset. Dang.

When was the last time Wisconsin won the Big 10?
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Spence has been saying it all year, no he has been poor mouthing the buckeyes for a couple of years. However, he did not predict any trouble with Wisky.

Could be just threee undefeateds left in the BT! Iowa and MSU will have the inside track to the Rose Bowl!

11:30 to go. If Whisky doesn't do something this drive they are going to be in trouble. They have done just about nothing in the 2nd half!

Note Dame now goes back to the best team in Indiana with Purdue a clsoe second until next week. :?

I don't think that ND win over WMU was too impressive. I bet Purdue would like to get another shot at them.

Well now we are down to what, eleven, with Nevada pending in the late game in Hawaii.

Oklahoma, Oregon, Mich St, Boise, TCU, LSU, Auburn, Utah, Okie St, Missouri, Nevada...

Must say I didn't see this one coming. I thought Iowa would be the bane of the Buckeyes, come late November. Could still be, though Michigan St. still has to get through them as well. Iowa-Wisky next week could be a good game for the Heartland brass bull.

Well, I have the Sooners as #1 in my poll, but Ohio State was my #5, plus #6 Nebraska and #12 South Carolina... another one of those weeks. Great stuff.

The trying is over, for the 2nd week in a row a #1 has fallen, so who's next to try their hand at #1? BOISE STATE maybe? Oh thats right they don't play anybody that would be considered a real challenge. GO BRONCOS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's setting up perfectly for Boise. Although I think to outlast Alabama sneaking up from behind, they need the SEC West guys to all finish 10-2, just to be safe. LSU has to get through Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Bama, Auburn has to get through Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, and Georgia, and Alabama already has one loss with LSU and Auburn. It seems to me, best case scenario:

LSU loses to Arkansas, Auburn.
Auburn loses to Ole Miss, LSU.
Alabama loses to Auburn.

I think it's certainly possible for Boise State to beat out one loss LSU and Auburn teams, but probably not Alabama. Of course, saying this, none of it would really matter if Oklahoma and Oregon wind up with one loss as I'm pretty sure the pollsters and computers will give the Broncos the benefit of the doubt there.
Running bowl/MSU/OSU record '05-present: 11-32
