While I don't mind a good argument...if nothing new can be brought to bare...it just kind of spirals.
Come on guys...this board is the more intellectual and good sportsman flavor in contrast with all of the other mess out there. Can we argue about something new? I understand I am always right so that kind of makes it difficult. But,

-I've been thinking - That the Big East might actually be the toughest conference out there this year. You could make a case that the opening OOC games really were just trap games heading into a monstrous schedule!
-I've been thinking - That Penn State Mascot is sweet! It is hard to get that much character an artfullness in what surprisingly is judt a costume!
-I've been thinking - LSU might well have the best offense in the SEC, but te passing defenses they have faced has supressed it to a degree!
-I've been thinking - Why isn't Northwestern in the Top 15? I can't believe it!
-I've been thinking - Man I wish I was back in West Virginia so I could catch that Oregon game coming on at 9PM! That would be swell Wally!

No, if we could just find a way to combine that stellar Vanderbilt D with that explosive LSU O, then we could have ourselves a true deserving #1.

Oh yeah, we would be talking about a team who might carry the day over Rutgers! That is high talk I know...but it is what it is!

spread was about 21, actual difference 47... looks like Oregon is #1 still... and the computers should give a huge benefit to Oregon, though not aware that UCLA had an injured QB...

Still, in human polls, Oregon can't be a lock #1, especially after losing to Boise St. each of the past 2 years (at least they scheduled them, unlike the SEC) which must haunt a lot of voters...not to mention the perennial love fest for Oklahoma...who basically just goes to BCS games (NC included) and loses...
Events that happened a year ago, or two years ago, should not matter, but they probably do.

How can you be right, when you disagree with me??

LSU the best offense???? Really?

Though the part about pass defense...they do play in the SEC. Nuff said.

The time is 18:24 SECDST

It was that Eer defense that really has gotten them messed up. They just haven been able to shake the image of Blue and Gold being where they wanted to go.

The time is 7:25 BEDST.
