My first real blow up of the day.

Mizz intercepts the ball and is taking it back. He would have gone all the way if one of the other Tigers did more than just run down the field 2 yard to the right and a yard and a half behind the runner (towards mid field). I can not stand that, he never really looked back...and his boy gets tackled at the 20 (by a WR I think, running down the sideline) for no dang reason!

Missouri's looking alright, but I don't think their defense will hold that much longer. Of course, I picked Missouri to win tonight so that means I am also assuming that Oklahoma won't play fantastically defensively either!

Oklahoma is just a lot more beatable away from home.

Actually a pretty good game so far, though.

I've noticed something.

This year ESPN is using the BCS ranking to show the teams rank...they have almost always used either the AP or the USA Today poll.

Maybe I'm just not a fan of ESPN, but I think if the computers had Ok at 10, they would have used the human polls. Cynical? Yes.

It seems like they do that, but I believe I recall some instances where they were consistent in using the AP Poll. Now that they have that deal with the BCS, it seems as if they'll be using those to rank the teams in their games.

What's wrong with the sound on this game?? It sounds very distant, and like Mushroomberger was awoken from his playoff dreams.

Just got it back.

But this happens all of the time since digital. They lose the audio in the digital feed and they have to patch it. Analog it seems, but definitely a different signal. (Notice the radio sound, very little stadium noise...and some nice delay.)

What did we say about this one Derek?

Its a big lesson from the Fiesta Bowl with Oklahoma. If you start scoring against them they start to fall apart cuz they are not used to it. Notice the high combined score.

I said for a while I wasn't convinced Oklahoma was good. After the game with Cincy, I knew they had chinks in their armour. I not convinced about Oregon either, but mostly based on last year, regardless, looks like they get their shot. It also looks like Auburn is making a case, which will make the rivalry game very intereseting.

I'm even questioning Auburn right now as well. How did they get away with a home schedule like the one they were gift-wrapped? Clemson, Arkansas, LSU, and South Carolina so far have all been at home. Auburn was really pushed on the road by Mississippi State and Kentucky.

Oregon folds under offensive pressure. They don't like catch-up. I still think Oregon State will take them out (But next week's test against USC could do the trick since the last two and only two losses they had were only by a combined 3 points in two games). Boise State has plenty to worry about from Hawaii -- regardless of ranking, in-conference familiarity breeds danger. Its like a bad marriage: "Familiarity breeds contempt" -- so to speak.
