I have to say, I was wrong! I never thought Harvin would do really well in the pro game. 3 to 5 years and much of that being situational play and special teams I could see. But the guy is doing very well!

BTW, Favre is just an amazing human being. I never got to see the old guys like Johnny U, but I have a hard time imagining anybody tougher than Favre at QB!

Harvin has been outstanding. The only thing that has limited him at all are the migraines. When he is healthy he is hard to stop....as a receiver, returner, or rushing the ball even.

And Hernandez.

That is all.

Nice brevity!

If I started on my "We Miss" list...I'd have gotten more than 2 on there and would have had to applied Cane's
.

Johnny U was a tough ole guy...

But my fave was George Blanda. When I was a kid, he looked like grandpa..and he played on and on...1949 to 1975. Hescored his last NFL points at age 48 in 1975 (as a PK). His last role as QB was winning the AFC title game at age 43. Blanda died a month ago.

Probably a great many of these around, but that is in the top ranks of a guy I'd like to spend a whole weekend listening to before he left this world. Might just learn a thing or nine!
