Chic Fil A Talks to FSU About Season Opener

Postby billybud » Mon Nov 01, 2010 6:21 pm

Chic Fil A Bowl reps have been in town talking to FSU about opening the season against Bama in Atlanta in 2013 or 2014. Bama has committed to open in both years.

FSU has told the Atlanta crew that 2013 doesn't look good because FSU already has Florida, WVU, and Nevada in OOC...but that 2014 might be doable since the OOC has not been filled out.
“If short hair and good manners won football games, Army and Navy would play for the national championship every year.”

Interesting...I was a little disappointed after opening the thread though. I thought we were going to discuss their tasty chicken.

Hopefully, Florida State can whip up on some Crimson Tide in a couple of years.

Florida State definitely does not shy away from quality out of conference competition.

Well, there is the case of scheduling WVU.
