How the SEC will shake out...how I want it to anyway

LSU beats Bama on Sat

Auburn wins out

Arkansas wins out

That scenario leaves Auburn undefeated, and Ark 10-2 would finish #2 in the SEC. Auburn plays for the BCS NC and that puts Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl.

It's possible.....and I can dream. :D

I think Alabama will beat LSU and Auburn. That will probably put Alabama in the National title game. If Oregon loses that could allow either Boise State or the winner of the Utah/TCU game to play Bama for the National Championship.

Auburn will get a BCS bid to the Sugar Bowl.

Arkansas will probably lose one more game and wind up in the Outback Bowl. Should the Hogs win out and finish 10-2 they might elevate to the Citrus Bowl. However, if they lose two more games, which is very possible it will be another Cotton Bowl appearance.

That is how it will likely play out.

In 2 weeks Flor plays South Carolina....the winner of that game is in the driver's seat. The game is in Gainsville and South Carolina has never won there if I am not mistaken.

That will be a hoot!

If the gators play in the CCG. A full blown, eyes crying, knee slapping, appreciation of a good joke? If they win it.

I would make them the favorite to win the SEC East. It is amazing how the balance of power has shifted from East to West in the SEC. This is another reason why the Big 10 manipulation of the divisions away from pure geography was a bad move, as no matter how it is done, at some time down the road it will not be balanced.

I think the B-10 has mucked up everything to do with this expansion.

The first piece of the puzzle fell into place. Way to go LSU. Now Ark needs to beat South Carolina.

I was just heading in here to point that out.

Good call... Arkansas controls its own fate regarding LSU.

Tough game tonight, though... Gotta get it done there.

EDIT: Good start... 7-0.

7-7 now. Did anyone else see the no call holding on the South Caeolina drive. Ark oline getting to Garcia and Gamecock pulling on back of jersey. Oh well.
