Bloody Kansas!

Postby Eric » Sat Nov 06, 2010 5:35 pm

The Jayhawks were losing 45-17 in the 4th quarter to Colorado. Turner Gill's boys ripped off 35 unanswered scoring on a 28 yard touchdown run with 52 seconds left to go in the game

52-45 final.

That is ridiculous! How do you give up 35 points in a quarter? No doubt they had at least 2 TO's.
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Apparently this is how it went down. Colorado RB Rodney Stewart scored Colorado's only points on the first play of the quarter. Kansas then drove down to score one, recovered an onside kick and scored one, returned a fumble for a touchdown, and then intercepted a pass and scored on offense. So at that point they scored 28 unanswered and then they just ripped off a 28 yard gain with under a minute to go to score the go-ahead lead.

That's about as textbook as you can get on a collapse
