My Hypothetical Shootout Game

If you wanted to see repeats of today's 67-65 Michigan/Illinois game, who would most like to see Michigan play?

From another BCS conference, I think I'd like to see Michigan face Wake Forest. I know that Wake's offense isn't that good, but obviously it doesn't have to be good to score points against Michigan (UMass, which was kept to 10 points versus Richmond and 13 versus New Hampshire, scored 37 against Big Blue). My predicted score for that game may be 70-50 Michigan (in regulation  ). Wake Forest has allowed 68 points to Stanford, 52 to Virginia Tech, and 62 to Maryland.

I think other teams from BCS conferences that would score a ton and let up 50+ would be Kansas State and Texas Tech. For a non-BCS school, I'd like to see them take on Hawaii.

And yes this is a relatively pointless thread, but it is a way for me to make light of the Michigan defense situation so I don't lose my mind about it :D

I don't know. After today I'm thinking Michigan vs Navy, and couldn't even guess what the score would be.

No I couldn't tender a guess on that either! But Michigan seems particularly pathetic against the pass, a good balanced offense like Oregon or Boise State could probably hang 100 on them.

The O/U on that should be 115... and I'd still want the Over.

Michigan-Navy, I'd say that would be close but would finish 77-73..... in basketball. The football scores would be far higher...
