Get Ready For It

Losing a 4 TO game at UConn really put the Eers season in jeopardy, still pretty much ruined to me. But after grumbling and complaining since LSU...the Eers seem to have finally learned the power and the value they have in the 2 Back Set. They also learned (far too late) that an injured Divine is about the 7th best option with the talent they have, not the first. (But if learned at LSU, he'd be healthy by now.)

The Big East needs WVU to win and UConn to lose this weekend to help relieve some of the AQ scrutiny. That would likely have the Eers ranked top 20. UConn winning would by aggregate help rankings look better, but likely allow a 24th ranked team to earn the AQ...not good at all.

(Also note, the ACC would benefit from Va. Tech beating FSU, and going into the BCS in the Top 14, but those Turkeys aren't going to find FSU to obliging. I think if FSU wins they go in 16th or 17th.)

If USF beats UConn, ans I think there is a good chance of that. AND, WVU plays the 2 Back Set(s) in the offense...I want everybody to talk about the BE and the Eers. Because they will beat any team they get in their bowl. You can write that down!

I agree with everything you just said. Right now I believe West Virginia is the best team in the Big East.

More than the UConn loss, the Syracuse loss in Morgantown really stunk. I can forgive a road loss to a team that could pound the football, but Syracuse is pretty average this year with no offense whatsoever to speak of (sorry Roastbeef! :D ).

Yes I see that observation. But the UConn game left a certain sphincter muscle of mine all blistered. TO's they just never have, cost that game...and they actually used some better sets and play calls like 1 out of every 2 or 3 plays and even with coughing up the ball so much they out gained them by a large amount. The Syracuse performance was pathetic with an 80% chance of pain!
