I could have sworn a couple of years ago a gentleman in his 60's made a team on defense. I am pretty sure we talked about it then. Anyone else remember this? My mind could be making stuff up too.

Hear that Donovan; time to send in your letter of intent . . . Boise may find your, uh, "experience" refreshing.

Only?!?! Both stories are awesome!

(I was shooting ball down at the court today and thinking about playing football. I'd like to try it. Heck I can barely get guys to play basketball, forget football! Playing in college would probably be the only way.)

OLD IS...
When you have a 56" Flat Screen mounted on the bedroom wall so you don't have to put your glasses
on to actually see the game clearly.

The way I see it, that is more and more true all of the time. I play ball at the Y and there are a few 50-somethings running up and down that court. A couple of them (I take as ex-college players could beat many of the 30-somethings.) My dad is 70, and has taken very little care of himself as far as exercise, diet, and social interaction (big I think) and he still does awful well! So much I think isn't in what you get too old to do, it is just things we stop doing. *But I have learned you heal slower the hard way!

I still run and have for years. I was playing laser tag with my kids a few months back and found out there is a big difference between running and trying to make a cut. I cut to the left and pulled a calf muscle and was down three weeks.
