Not a word of it. I assume that Garcia is being punished for something (he seems to always be in troble come the start of the season) or Spurrier is trying to motivate him to work harder. He said Garcia would play the 2nd quarter and the QB that has the best first half will start the second half.

That diagnosis of the irritant sounds much more realistic to me. Garcia seems to be one of those boys that really likes to party. I don't know how many times he has been in the dog house...but it is more than 3 and less than 300.

Hmm...this is interesting.

I think the East is now Ga's to lose.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I wanna go back to this....Why did he bench Garcia only to let him back in?

Was the Old Ball coach over-confident about this game, and didn't want Georgia to get any video of Garcia or their plays????

I think he was trying to send a message....work hard and stay focused (and out of trouble) or you will lose your starting job.

I agree with Doss in the primary reasoning. But Derek, your point isn't a bad secondary reason at all. It looked like the game changed totally when Garcia came in, so one thing is for sure...the reason the Ole Ball Coach gave was absolute crap, out performed my foot!

Well...maybe Ole Shiny Pants was royally PO'd at Garcia...but no so PO'd that, with a game in jeopardy, he'd not put him in.
