Ohio State couldn't beat Nevada or Boise State.

I've said for some time that Boise State is a good football team. I think they are as good as anyone.

I dunno, I think the Buckeyes vs the Wolf Pack would actually be a good game to watch.

Nevada isn't a bad team; but they aren't exactly what they were last season either. If it were played in Reno, then Nevada probably would win. ( but we all know Ohio St won't do "That" )

No they wouldn't - no chance.

Haaaa!

Get a big stupid bull and run him out on the field before every game! Better yet, usher a big stupid Schooner out leading the bull w/ a Native American on his back and he can throw a spear into the ground while ringing a bell in the other. And the team runs out and rubs a rock before they take the field in a big cloud of smoke. While the band dots the 'i" in Boise.

My vote:

Is Nevada west of the Miss.?

However, if any of the answers had the SEC in it, I would have chosen that. 8)

I'm sorry, you want to prove you can play quality teams so you join the MWC. The only good thing in the MWC right now is Boise St. Now that Dalton and Kapernick are in the NFL, TCU and Nevada fade back into mediocrity. The MWC is known this year more for it's blow out losses to Wisconsin, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Michigan than it's one quality win by Boise St. Don't get me wrong I like them but Georgia isn't paying many dividends right now.

If you want to be taken seriously join a conference that consistently has tougher competition. I'm tired of watching Kellen Moore sleep his way through a season. There is not a game on their schedule I feel compelled to watch. It's like Luck at Stanford. I don't want to see him mail in the first 7 games either. Stanford will at least face 6 teams in the current top 50. Three of which are ranked higher than Boise St.'s highest ranked opponent in Air Force at #31 (CCR120).

Boise's Opponents in the top 50:

#47 Georgia
#31 Air Force
#44 TCU
#40 San Diego St.

I'm sure Boise St. is a good team but if a good team doesn't play any tough competition how can you tell? Also, do I take the guy who's in the trenches battling, day in and day out, for every inch of ground or do I take the guy who kicks back props his feet up and sleeps the day away and then shows up at the end saying he worked a full day? Of the seven possible undefeated teams Boise St. ranks 6th only ahead of Houston who makes Boise St.'s SOS look like a top 25 gauntlet. The only two teams Houston plays in the top 85 are SMU #32 and Tulsa #63.

I know it's Kellen Moore and I know Boise St.'s a good team but no way I'm putting them in the NCG for beating up on powder puffs. At this point I'd probably take a 2 loss SEC or Big 12 team, a 1 Loss Pac-12 or Big Ten team, or an undefeated ACC team long before I'd take Boise St because I know they were tested and earned it. I imagine they'll go to the fiesta bowl and we may finally see them face some competition.

And where have you decided the Boise State joined to MWC "to prove you can play quality teams?. There is no getting you wrong...your attitude is pretty typical.

Personally, which of course you indicated this was personal, I don't give a dang if Boise State, Ohio State, Alabama, or Virginia Tech (Whose SOS according to this site is 82 out of 120...Boise's is 62) ever go to a National Championship. I think the National Championship is a paper tiger promoted by greed, avarice and ego.

I think Boise State erred in going to the MWC.

And all of this does not mean, in my mind, the convoluted, involved, labyrinthine, tangled, tortuous, serpentine, impenetrable system of rating schools is anything but just that.

I agree. Until there is a way to fairly compare teams it won't be fair. The polls have become a manipulated joke. I believe if there are 120 division on teams then all of them should start the season with a fair chance to win a championship. It isn't like that now.
