Lining up for 4th quarter craziness as usual.
They seem to have had him contained after that first drive until now... He just got too fancy on 4th and short though. Inside the 15 just push forward and trust your O-Line to dig in and get you the yard you need (or else trust your kicker to get you the 3 points that could make the difference.)
This is why I don't bet rivalry games. Too much depends on emotion and in-game momentum. Too difficult to measure that in advance.

It's a horrible call. When you know the defense is going to line up 8 guys on the line and come after you, you can't afford to dink around in the backfield for an extended period of time. The refs, as Urban Meyer pointed out, should have ejected Gholston and should have called the TD back on the taunting. Either way, Michigan didn't deserve to win the game. I'm disappointed in MSU too, as they just took a cheap shot at Denard. Really cheap play by Sparty.

Also, Denard is such a bad passer. He can put too much zip on it, or he can loft it too high in the air. He can overthrow you or underthrow you or completely miss the target. It's just anarchy in the pocket when Denard takes it. The lineman don't know what he's doing, he's just trotting around the pocket, doesn't get his feet set, and then makes a terrible throw. His interception ratio is horrific this year. It doesn't help that our offensive line is so atrocious as well.
It's because of this that he can't even make the NFL as an Antwaan Randle-El and he can't make it as a RB because he's not even close to being durable enough.

Yeah, they should have got him on the taunting rule, but even if they did it would have been 1st and Goal on the 5. Probably better for Michigan that they didn't call it rather than take time off the clock with a goal line stand. I'm not entirely crazy about that rule anyway, in my opinion the penalty for that sort of crap is the 10% chance that the guy drops the ball in doing so and looks like an idiot.
The hit against Robinson is the real unnecessary jerk move of the game. 15 yard penalty, but they managed to thwart any last chance drive from the Wolverines as Gardner doesn't know what he's doing out there. Seal victory with a dirty play.
In the end the winner of Mich./Mich. State is Wisconsin. Michigan could be exposed. Just continuously blitz Robinson until he's stuck standing still second and third-guessing himself by trying to get more intricate and less manageable. Michigan State meanwhile gets the W, but looks dirty in doing so.
Down goes one of the second-tier of undefeateds. Now Okie St. gets to prove themselves against a hurting Texas...

I was disappointed in how dirty the Sparty D was. And they had those nice and clean USF uniforms on too!

TV guy as much called it a cheap shot-one of the worst!

That was Spielman who is awesome! Of a modern day family of American Knights...if he calls it a cheap-shot, you can rest assure it is! (That same punk pulled a few cheapos during the game. He should be suspended.)

Speilman is not squemish when it comes to hitting either. He was one of the most punishing linebackers ever to play at Ohio State. So if he said it was a cheap shot it wasn't because he doesn't believe in hard hitting.

Oops, got 'em anyway!
Don't know, thought of him probably 3 or 4 times over the last week. I am not a memory guy...but as the season turns this time of year I think BB takes in the outdoors, the road, and some reflecting. Especially when FSU is under performing expectations...you know how thinking past Saturday on those things can interfere with the aforementioned.
