The Ducks are gonna pull it out, it looks like. 7:25 is A LONG time, but the Ducks have the momentum right now.

Completely different game than a quarter ago.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Baylor wins for the first time ever over Oklahoma.

but to be honest, I see of no scenario where Arkansas can make the NCG Doss.

If they beat LSU, it will knock LSU out, not put Arkansas in. They will not send Arkansas to the NCG without winning the SEC, and the head to head loss to Alabama will keep you out.

Well thank you Baylor!

So the SEC West will be 1, 2, and 3 in the BCS. This may implode the whole system. Looks like the BCS NC game will be a rematch of some sort. If AR beats LSU, then Bama plays in SEC CG more than likely. Bama moves to BCS 1, AR moves to #2, and if it's a close loss then LSU drops to #3. If Bama wins SEC CG then they are in title game. How do you then drop both AR and LSU to let another team in?

Another scenario Georgia beats Bama and that moves AR to #1 in BCS (this is assuming AR beats LSU). Georgia gets Sugar Bowl....does AR get to play for NC even though they are not conference champs (do voters try to knock them from top spot)?

Wow. This is a complete mess. Unfortunately it looks like we will get our glorified conference game.

For who though? Imagine this scenario:

Arkansas beats LSU.
Alabama goes to SEC title game, loses to Georgia.
Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State.
Clemson beats Virginia Tech.

Who would they put in over LSU and Arkansas? They would be the only 1-loss teams remaining from BCS conferences. I think this situation is highly likely (although I'm starting to think Oklahoma State will take care of business against Oklahoma and save the system).

That is why this system is so Bogus. If AR goes to Baton Rouge and beats number 1 then AR will be ranked in top 2 in BCS. However the next week the humans will purposesly rank AR lower than they should be...just crazy.

I understand the situation....but they will back flip till the cows come home to keep Arkansas out. NOT keeping them out, will be a blatant double standard and would cause further mistrust in the system than it would ticking off only Arkansas fans.

this VERY same thing happened to Georgia, and they were kept out. I'm at peace with that... but don't change your made up rules now. And believe me, they are "made up". Nothing more.

There is NO rule that says it can't happen, but honestly, ESPN shaping public opinion kept Georgia out, and the same should apply to Arkansas.

If Georgia wins the SEC then they get the auto bid to the Sugar Bowl. There is a rule that allows 3 teams from same conference in BCS: if #1 and #2 in BCS and neither were conference champs then they can play for NC and the conference champs get the BCS auto bid. Last week I was thinking how is that even possible...well you just spelled it out Eric (however, who wants a rematch of AR vs LSU)?

Auburn beating Bama cleans the whole mess up...that is if AR can beat LSU. That would put AR in SEC CG vs Georgia. AR would be playing for spot in title game and LSU would probably get the Sugar bowl if AR were to best Georgia. AR's opponent would not be an SEC team.

Come on Auburn...and Go Hogs!

And to think; both Mississippi teams had to be sacrificed up as cannon fodder leading into next week's mammoth battle.

However, as for the mess to be cleaned:

Alabama loses to Auburn
LSU finishes 13-0 SEC Champions
Va Tech finishes 12-1 ACC Champions

That would be your title game.

And yet, this is far from easy said & done.

Virginia is playing really good right now, and would throw a massive wrench into the machine if they beat Tech, having the Cavs playing for the ACC Championship.

And of course, Arkansas winning would be less surprising than Auburn over Bama.

It is truly fun to watch the season come down to the very last week . . .

What a mess. If Va Tech can win out then I believe it will be an ACC vs SEC match up in the title game. They'll surpass whomever they need too by winning a ccg while the others have a week off. Still two tough games for VT though. UVA probably hits the polls this week, it's in Charlottesville, it's a rivalry game, and it's an exclamation point on the recruiting front which has UVA pressuring VT on the recruiting front in the top 25 nationally. If they win as a reward they get a rematch with Clemson. Two tough games but if they win I think they are in.

As for the SEC National Championship Division.

LSU wins and beats Georgia they will go. If they beat Arkansas but lose to Georgia, Bama goes.

If Arkansas wins, Bama goes to the CCG, and if Bama wins they are in but if Bama loses then Arkansas is in.

If VT loses then we are likely looking at an all SEC West title game. Either LSU - Bama or Arkansas - Bama
