November 24, 2009, Urban Meyer said in regards to a question about the soon-to-be Notre Dame job vacancy, "I'm ready to dispel it. I'm going to be the coach at Florida as long as they'll have me. So I want to make that clear." I am sure Florida fans are jumping with glee. I mean it is not like Urban has even blatantly lied before. Right? Right? Well just ask a Bowling Green or Utah fan what they think about that (these are quotes from Urban starting from when he was at Bowling Green)......
"This is a long term process (building a football program). I always say there are only about eight or 10 really good football programs where year in and year out they win."

Less than a month after coaching his final game at Florida, Urban Meyer has a new job. ESPN announced it had hired the former Gators coach as a college football analyst.
November 23, 2011
Contacted Wednesday by ESPN, Meyer, who coached Florida to two national championships, denied that he had a deal with Ohio State.
"I have not been offered any job nor is there a deal in place," Meyer said in a statement. "I plan on spending Thanksgiving with my family and will not comment on this any further."
