Tyrann Mathieu has been not just been kicked off LSU football's squad, he's been kicked out of school.

This might be at worst, "a punch to the gut", but one LSU can certainly recover from.

They could still win their first five games with ease. Those type of matchups will be perfect to give players behind Mathieu on the depth chart (many redshirt frosh, but talented) much playing time. Their front four are quite good, which will help for the first half of the season. John Chavis is a top notch DC, the ship should be fine by the time they host Bama.

LSU cannot win the West without his energy. His explosiveness can change momentum in a game, like what happened in the SEC CG last year. That was the turning point, and the second half belonged to LSU.

Nevertheless, you break the rules....Bye Bye.
