First comes love then comes marriage
Then comes baby
In a baby carriage
ESPN is killing me! Ridiculous.

ESPN is terrible. They have a love affair not with the SEC as a whole but a select few teams: Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Case in point: ESPN gives a run down of all the games involving the top 25. Previews of the games. However, they failed to preview a game this week. That's right #8 Arkansas was overlooked yet again. Last year they left Arkansas off the preview list more than once. One week Ark was ranked #5 and they overlooked Ark. Many Hog fans emailed ESPN and they apologized and in an emailing saying they simply overlooked Arkansas. 1 time I believe it but multiple times I see some kind of trend. I promise you they never overlook Bama, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida.
Ark could beat Bama next Saturday and it will not be because Ark outplayed them. ESPN will say Bama had a bad game, and that they are still the better team. Bama may win (and probably will) but pay attention to the ESPN talking heads if Ark wins.
We may want to add Texas A&M to the list of schools ESPN loves from the SEC.
Just makes me sick as well.

No doubt Doss!
They talk more about Florida than Ark. Ark is twice the team!

Agreed on all points.

I can agree with most of that....but the love affair with Ga is not there IMO.
Bama, FL, LSU? Yes.
The talking hair-do's have way too much pull in the rankings either way.

What I would love to find out one day is why South Carolina always get to kick off the new year with the primetime game. Did we really have to suffer through the South Carolina / Vandy game? Look at this:
2005: South Carolina vs. UCF
2006: South Carolina vs. Mississippi State
2008: South Carolina vs. NC State
2009: South Carolina vs. NC State
2010: South Carolina vs. Southern Miss
2012: South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt
All of which were the kickoff game on primetime on ESPN. So that's 6 out of the last 8 seasons where the first game of the year on national television dealt with Steve Spurrier.

Exaclty Spurrier is the coach they love....whatever team he's coaching will get that attention.
The view of him throwing the visor is proven to give at least a tenth of a Neilsen point.

I was going to say, we need to throw SoCar in their. I think they have been hyping them a bit more subtly than the big 3. They sure love, "The Ole Ball Coach!"
