Update on injured players:
QB Tyler Wilson - day to day with a concussion (head injury suffered in ULM game...cheap shot and taunting and yes no flag)
FB Kody Walker - out for season (broken leg suffered in ULM game)
CB Tevin Mitchel - still in hospital but stable and expecting a full recover (head and neck injury sustained in ULM game)
CB Killabrew - day to day (arm/shoulder injury from ULM game)
FB Kiero Small - surgery on foot after hurting it in practice leading up to ULM game (out 4+ weeks)

Arkansas is licking their wounds and Bama is coming to town. Not good. Looks like Killabrew may be the only one that plays vs Bama and he will not be 100%.

Went and rewatched the couple of hits that Tyler Wilson took. Both after he threw the ball and both were head shots by ULM. After one hit as Tyler is on the ground the defender is jumping up and down over Tyler and taunting him as he laid injured on the ground. A ref was right at their side. And yes no flag was thrown. Just like the Bama game last year. Tyler was hit late after several throws and all were head shots and not a single flag was thrown.

They are now saying Kiero Small will be out 8-12 weeks so the season.

Brandon Mitchel (last years backup QB) will back from WR and take some snaps with redshirt freshman Brandon Allen. Both will get playing time vs Bama.

Mitchel is out of hospital but does not look like he will play for awhile.

Tyler Wilson still showing signs of concussion and will not play if he does not practice this week according to John L.

Kody Walker broke his leg and is out for the season. He was hurt in the 3rd game last season and missed the rest of the season. Some kids luck.

Ohio State is down to the 3 and 4 running backs. Not that it matters since they can't go anywhere. I'm still want to win the ones we are playing.

Arkansas has no full backs left. The third stringer hurt before season. They will be using TE's and Oline as full backs Saturday vs Bama. They are saying Tyler Wilson has a shot at playing...about 50/50 right now.

Didn't Ark just go through an injury riddled season the year before last?

Injuries can kill a season...

Last year, FSU led the country in lost starts...and a hopeful year turned into a 9 win year. Lost the three games that the starting QB did not start...then won 7 of the last 8.

Last year Arkansas had ton of injuries:
RB Knile Davis out the season
FB Kody Walker hurt in week 2 (out the season)
Both starting DE Bequette and Wright missed half the season (Bequette hurt right before Bama game and Wright on first series vs Bama)
2 starting defensive players hurt during Bama game and missed several weeks (Safety and LB)

Year before:
Greg Childs knee injury and missed half of season (never fully recovered for last season)
Joe Adams had a stroke and missed several weeks
Ryan Mallett missed 2 1/2 games with injuries

I am forgetting a few injuries for the past 2 seasons. It has been rough. Ark did go 21-5 over those 2 years, and until last Saturday had the 3 longest active streak being ranked in the top 10 in the country (Alabama and LSU were 1 and 2 in that category).

The trend is usually losing 2-3 players during the Bama game. Ark can not afford for that to happen.

That is rough guys. Heck it only takes a QB to take 30 to 40% of a teams ability away. And just a couple of guys on D sometimes. Injuries are the biggest what if stirrers I know of.
