When it's the only game in town, etc. Well, I listened (not watched) as we get to play both those teams later on; so, I had more interest than you.

BJ Daniels at USF just has not progressed as a QB over the years....

I paid attention to this game. Rutgers comes to Fayetteville to face the Razorbacks a week from Sat.

Nope . . .

and it's amazing how some head coaches stick with a guy regardless of his lack when it comes to development.

This is the reason you should always recruit heavy at key positions . . . if the lead man fails, you don't find yourself stuck with all of your eggs in that basket.

Few schools can do that. No player with talent wants to be a backup player, no matter how prestigious the school maybe...and you are not talking, I don't think, well...prestigious does not even come to mind....I don't know, but I am guessing.

You should still have a respectable enough backup in the ready when things are falling apart.

Prestige or no . . . there are more recruits out there than schools with national exposure.
Daniels is this season a senior; and as a junior lead the Bulls to a whopping 5-7 record, last year.

As a head coach, if you aren't recruiting for the future of your program; you aren't recruiting for the security of your job.

I'm right there with ya on that one brother.

Give me college football, and it's a sport.
Anything else is just, blah!

Sometimes I'll take in a high school football game here or there; often it's something I can pick up over radio while driving.

Though, if there is a college game on somewhere, I'll usually find it.
