Looks like you finally have an on-field product you can enjoy :D . It took the Hogs long enough. I wonder how much of this is Kentucky mailing it in after a disastrous season or if Arkansas is really rebounding after that Auburn win. I haven't been watching the game, but what do you think?

Ark has 2nd and 3rd string in game. Weather delay again. I am leaving game. Bad weather hitting soon.

Tyler Wilson was absolutely incredible in his 2 1/2 quarters he played.

Ole Miss next in 2 weeks.

Looks like only half way through 3rd quarter that game will be called. Reported that Kentucky is packing up their stuff on sideline. Bad storms. Score is 49-7 and both teams playing bench Warner's now.

Game called with 5:08 left in the 3rd quarter. First called game in Arkansas history.

Ark wins 49-7. The weather was nasty at the end.

Ark is finally looking like the team I thought they would be from game one. The first 4 games Ark's defense had almost Zero blitzes. Paul Haynes kept saying he wanted to play containment defense....especially against running QB's. So the D linemen would to hold position to keep QB's from running but they were burning the secondary in the passing game. The past two weeks Paul Haynes has turned the defense loose. They are blitzing from all over the place and you can see the result on the field. I would rather go all out and give up a big player here or there instead of being picked apart in the passing game. It has been fun to see blitzes coming from the linebackers, safeties, and corners....mixing it up and disguising them well. The defensive ends are exploding off the ball and getting a pass rush...no more of that containment junk. I hope they play this style from here on out. This style resulted in 8 sacks and 5 turnovers in the Auburn blowout win, and they got several more sacks tonight against Kentucky.

Tyler Wilson in 2 1/2 quarters of play: 372 passing yards and 5 passing TD's (5 passing TD's in 1 game ties school record formally held by Ryan Mallett).

Would not say John L Smith is doing a heck of a job but he has toned down his craziness as of late. It does seen like the coaches have made some adjustments. Offense adding new formations, playing some young guys, and defense is playing aggressive. If that was his call to make those changes then I say good job on his part. Also, Paul Petrino moved to the box for Auburn game and was in the box this week. Hr called much better games then he had all year and I think the players enjoy not getting the f bomb thrown at them after every mistake.

We shall see soon if they have really improve. Last 5 games: Ole Miss, Tulsa, South Carolina (on road), Miss State (on road), and LSU. Three ranked teams to end the season (2 top 10).

I think that is a fair assessment. And if there have been changes, including cleaning up the language..then that has had to come from Smith...Motivation and encouragement can make the difference. Anyway, it is good that a team had become competitive and the kids are getting a better experience.

Most everyone around here feels the KY team has given up on Joker and maybe on themselves this year. All the talk shows are speculating on who will replace him. The AD seems to be looking for a reason for keeping him.
