I Love Oregon

I might have to revise this statement after the USC game, but Oregon looks absolutely fantastic. They haven't faced a great opponent yet, but they are demolishing these teams like a top two team ought to. I'm just impressed at how they can roll you over offensively and the defense has really stepped it up this year. After seeing a few Oregon games, I can safely say that Oregon has one of the best defenses in the country. Statistically the amount of passing and the time of possession against plus the second-stringers hurt their statistical standing, but the first string can play with almost any offense in the country as far as I can see. That will be the difference with this team compared to the last few years.
Can they beat Alabama? I don't know. But other than them, I'd take this squad over anybody else in the country right now.

Not sure love is the right word....but that may be a different subject, but Oregon is for real. Last night during the first two quarters when the starters with normal substitution was happening, Oregon's offensive line left holes bigger than an moth at Pendelton Woolen Mills. The speed of the team seems to be every aspect of their game from quickness of the snap to linemen and the defensive line. I am not a big Oregon fan, lived in Washington too long with the Huskies and their is some real animosity there. Duck fans are obnoxious like any 15 year old. (Huskies aren't any better...two most sophomoric teams in the country) If by chance, which i do not think will happen, Oregon State goes undefeated until the civil war game...well ESPN may show some of the highlights, provided they are not preempted by Auburn getting a first down.

This is why I love Donovan.
ESPN is too busy ogling Saban to worry about the other Alabama team.
