Alex Collins rated #1 RB in nation commits to Arkansas. He had offers from just about everyone and had taken visits to Florida State, Florida, and Miami. Most thought he would stay close to home and choose Miami.

After 9 months of just terrible news surrounding the football program: Petrino, John L Smith, the losses, etc. this is good news. The new football complex is almost finished and will be among the nicest in the country, and they are in the early steps of expanding the stadium (enclosing the North endzone at Razorback Stadium.

One thing BB always didin Wisconsin was get great backs. His offense features backs and. He builds his offenses around them.

Well AC has not signed his letter of intent. His mom stole it and ran away. No one knows where she is. He needs her signature on the intent. You can't make this stuff up. Just crazy.

I heard that today. She wants him close to home. Woody Hayes used to say you have to win the parents. Looks like BB didn't this time.

He is still signing with Arkansas. Crazy situation. Read a story that he lives with his high school football coach and not with his family.

Well, Alex Collins signed his letter of intent with the Razorbacks today. His dad, grandmother, and ain't by his side. His mom was a no show.

This signing by Arkansas prompted Miami to seek a future recruit ... his name is Joseph Yearby.

I'm sure you're familiar with that name Billybud . . . cause Miami just plucked him away from fsu's 2014 class.

I'm glad to see Arkansas heading in the right direction . . . It's tough, knowing you've the talent to contend; though, underachieve due to poor leadership.

I like the prospects going on in Fayetteville. A competitive team would be a nice balance to the SEC west, also.
