Thank you for the welcome, and I'm very happy to have found this site, which seems to be devoid of most of the nonsense that is ruining my interest in college football. In response, the user name choice has no affiliation to a particular team. Honestly, I cannot say for sure that I have a "favorite" team, although it is hard to escape my alma mater, of course. I simply like watching teams play one another, interesting matchups, etc. Happy to see folks interested in ranking based on performance rather than based on subjective opinion of quality.

We do have some nonesense, just not much of the kind you are talking about. I always liken this site to a bunch of guys at a local bar. Without the beer.......sometimes with the beer. You an decide which.

Welcome, Duke! I hope you stick around for the pick'em. Since we have two new players and one guy who has already missed a week, I was planning on resetting the scoreboard after this week and doing a "second-half" champion kind of thing in addition to the overall champion. It helps give us all a little something to play for.
