”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

Saturday, September 28th

(1.) Penn State --- [because sooner or later Brett will Bielema]
(2.) Kansas State --- [someone's gonna rebound ... likely it's the home team]
(3.) Oklahoma --- [either they build momentum off of last week or collapse on the road]
(4.) Arkansas --- [here's two of the most mediocre programs trying to be something they're not]
(5.) Baylor --- [Aranda really needs this to be true]
(6.) Texas Tech[/size] --- [the Raiders might have figured out who they are]
(7.) UCF --- [you only get so many miracle finishes]
(8.) Boise State --- [I'm not sure one is better than the other]
(9.) Indiana --- [who are these guys ..?]
(10.) South Florida --- [unless they let Miami beat them two weeks in a row]
(11.) Texas State --- [to think this one is now an FBS rivalry game]
(12.) Louisville --- [watch; the leprechauns will actually show up now that I've picked against `em]
(13.) Fresno State --- [however; the improvements in Las Vegas are hard to ignore]
(14.) Georgia Southern --- [someone got beat up last week and will be hoppin' mad]
(15.) Duke --- [maybe Manny can retire Mack]
(16.) ECU --- [this has to be the homiest of Home Team picks]
(17.) Georgia --- [I guess it comes down to new philosophy vs old and whose vulnerabilities get exploited]
(18.) SMU --- [O' c'mon Rhett; you can do it]
(19.) New Mexico --- [thought if I took them and they won I'd get a quick point, until the Hillbilly did too]
(20.) Air Force --- [what is going on in Laramie ..?]

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

- John Madden
