Priority Score Alert: Nevada vs. New Mexico State

Postby BYUfan1 » Sat Jan 20, 2007 11:11 pm

Halftime:

Nevada 34
New Mexico State 33

Nick Fazekas is still having problems with his ankle but has made 2 3-pointers and I think 12 points in the first half. Nevada has not been out-rebounded all season, but New Mexico State has outrebounded Nevada. New Mexico State is not making 3's, but Justin Hawkins had a great half and the Aggies capitalized on Nevada's turnovers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

New Mexico State won 80-73. Nevada could not keep the Aggies of the boards and State was too athletic for Nevada. Fazekas' ankle is getting better but he is still not 100%.

NMSU has a good basketball team this year. A lot of people think they might get in as an at-large.
