Bill Keightley, the longtime equipment of the University of Kentucky's basketball team, passed away on March 31 at the age of 81. He died of internal bleeding caused by an undiagnosed tumor on the spine. He was on his way to the Cincinnati Reds' season-opener and suffered a fall. His tenure extended from Adolph Rupp to Billy Gillispie, and it was Joe B. Hall that nicknamed him "Mr. Wildcat."
For those of you who don't recognize the name, he was the chubby, bald-headed man you always saw sitting with the coaching staff.
