Arkansas-Pine Bluff-Purdue

Postby BYUfan1 » Sun Dec 07, 2008 11:19 am

The game was played yesterday, but I did not watch it until this morning. Even without Robbie Hummel, who was out with back spasms, Purdue won easily 90-42. JaJuan Johnson scored 20 points and led the five Boilermakers who scored in double figures. Purdue's 22 turnovers look bad until you realize Arkansas-Pine Bluff had 35 turnovers. Tyree Glass was the only Golden Lion who scored in double figures with 18 points and shot 5 of 9 from 3-point range. Purdue missed too many easy baskets in the first half but it really didn't matter as they led 44-23 at the half.

The floor seems to slowly get more and more stretched with the way people launching the 3-ball. I really thought TO's would be coming down with this...the passing lanes are a little harder to play when you are covering more floor!
