Oregon-Too Many Uniforms

Oregon at times does wear uniforms that actually look good, but why are there so many different combinations, with some of them being just plain bad? I saw the Oregon-Arizona State the other day, and the names on the back of the jerseys were in white with no contrasting outlining and the jerseys were white. You could not even tell they had names on the back, until I saw the back of one on a close up angle. What genius came up with that design idea?
