Miami, FL-Pepperdine

The Pepperdine Waves played in front of a big crowd (over 1,000), but the fan noise was not enough as the Hurricanes defeated the Waves 86-63. Miami made 13 3-pointers and shot 53% from the field. James Dues made 5 3-pointers and scored 21 points for the Hurricanes. Adrian Thomas helped out with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. For Pepperdine, Keion Bell had 22 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists. Mychel Thompson added 15 points in the losing effort. With a 4-12 record, it looks like the Waves need to go back to the kiddie pool.
