I had to run some numbers and check still others.

I worked up effective scoring. Considers 2 and 3 pt FGs, TOs, Steals, Rebs...
Purdue: 93.56
WVU: 93.74

I worried that WVU had a softer schedule, but CBS has WVU's RPI of #2 and SOS @ #20. Purdue has an RPI of #19 and SOS @ #143.

Purdue is #4 and WVU is #6.

Sagarin has WVU #4 and Purdue #8. Pomeroy has WVU #6 and Purdue #13. Massey has WVU #3 and Purdue #6.

This should be a good game, but with Purdue at home and a relatively short turnaround for each team I'd give Purdue a slight edge. On the road it depends on how well the visitors like the baskets!

Am realy surprised at the margin. Home court kis worth at least 5 points in CBB. We'll really know more about our teams in about 3 weeks.

I didn't even get to watch it. My cable amplifier went out and the cable company couldn't get me another until today. I watched the Gator Bowl on fuzzy TV w/ no clicker!

(Worse fan day ever, 2 losses, no cable, on a diet!) :x

Use justin.tv and you can often pick it up via the net!

Man I forgot about that...AGAIN. My internet and phone was still cranking.

ESPN360.com would probably have been your best bet. The ESPN broadcast started late because the Outback Bowl ran long. The bowl games on the ESPN family messed up the next program lots of times because the bowl games took too long.

Time Warner-San Antonio doesn't carry ESPN360. Have to have AT&T U-Verse. And I just got bad reports on their service today.

Direct tv is still the best source on sports programming.
