The Kansas Jayhawks used a second half spurt to defeat the Baylor Bears 78-68. Kansas only led Baylor 37-35 at the half but had a 14-2 run to break the game open. Perry Ellis led the Jayhawks with 18 points. Andrew Wiggins made 10 of his 12 attempts from the free throw line to account for most of his 17 points. Baylor shot 48.1% (13-27) from long distance but just 39% from the field overall and 45% (9-20) from the free throw line. Kansas shot 57.5% (23-40) from the field and 89.7% (26-29) from the free throw line. Baylor's Brady Heslip made six of his nine 3-point attempts on his way to 19 points. Cory Jefferson and Isaiah Austin each had 16 points in the losing effort. Kansas is now 5-0 in the Big 12 and 14-4 overall. The Bears fall to 13-5 for the season and 1-4 in conference play.
