Vermont-UMass Lowell

The Vermont Catmounts made their first eight 3-point shots to cruise to an easy 96-53 win over the UMass Lowell River Hawks. Vermont led 29-6 with 11:11 remaining in the first half. For the game, the Catamounts made 16 of their 21 attempts from long range. Ethan O'Day scored 21 points in 20 minutes, and Cam Ward came off the bench to chip in with 14 points, going a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point range. The River Hawks shot 28% and made just seven field goals in the first half. Chad Holley was the only player for UMass Lowell to reach double-digits in scoring. Holley scored 16 point and dished out 3 assists. Vermont is now 15-10 overall and 10-2 in the America East. The River Hawks fall to 4-8 in conference action and 10-15 for the season.
