UTEP Beats Texas Southern 78-57

Postby BYUfan1 » Sun Nov 18, 2007 11:55 pm

It wasn't a crisp performance by the Miners, but great passing from Marvin Kilgore and good shooting Stefon Jackson helped UTEP pull away after only being up at the half 40-33. Texas Southern tried to play a slow-down game and only played seven players. Texas Southern's best player is Jacques Jones, but Sollie Norwood had the best game.

UTEP had way too many turnovers, and Victor Ramalho needs to start catching the ball when it is fed to him in the paint.
