LA Tech-Fresno State
Fresno State defeats Louisiana Tech 70-58 on Steve Cleveland's birthday. The key to the game was the dominance of Fresno State's point guard Kevin Bell. He had 18 points and 6 assists and was able to penetrate to the basket anytime he wanted to. It is hard to believe that Fresno State has a losing record even after tonight's win when Kevin Bell and Eddie Miller are conservatively at least two of the ten best players in the conference.
Kyle Gibson had 22 points in a losing effort for Louisiana Tech. Tech is now 0-8 in the conference and 3-17 overall.
