Jay John and C.J. Giles Gone From Oregon State
Jay John was fired from Oregon State on Sunday, and Kevin Mouton was named interim coach. Mouton's first move as head coach was dismissing 6-11 center C.J. Giles from the team. Giles was benched for the January 3 game against Arizona for being late for practice on several occassions. Giles played in ten games and averaged 6.3 points and 5.6 rebounds. He was suppose to be the key in turning Oregon State's fortunes around this year. Giles first played his college ball at Kasas but was dismissed from there as well.
