Ball State Just Plain Stinks

I'm glad I don't have the opportunity to see that many Ball State basketball games this year because this team is just hard too watch. The Ronny Thompson era was a dissaster. None of the players that came in this year are of Billy Taylor's choosing. The team is small and they don't shoot well, especially from 3-point range. Peyton Stovall is just not the same player he was before he tore up his knee in 2005-06.

Ball State lost today to Miami, OH 66-54. The Cardinals were not doing too badly until Miami, OH went on a 14-0 run early in the second half and the worse part was that all the points came from Kenny Hayes. For Ball State, Anthony Newell and PG Melvin Goins played pretty well.

I guess all I can say is wait 'till next year.
